Larry D. Sneed, 71, was born January 16, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edna and Sarah (Stewart) Sneed. His parents, five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. As a lifelong area resident, Larry received his education through local Catholic schools. By trade, he worked as a painter for many years until health began to fail. On September 12, 1970, Larry was united in marriage to Ms. Sharon Rae who also preceded him in death. Larry was a joy be around and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing as a pastime and he was also an excellent chef. Larry departed this life on October 10, 2016 at his home. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by all whose life he touched. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Stacey Hubbard (Derrick) and Sarah Stewart (Matthew); one brother, Phillip Sneed (Marie); two sisters, Rosemary Tracy and Patricia King (Gary); nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
