LaTausha Sade Bentley, 29, KCMO, October 26, 2016. She was born June 10, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri to James R. Tilford and Angela Day. She was preceded in death by grandfather, Daniel Day, Jr.; father, James R. Tilford; brother, DeMarcus R. Townsend and her son, Kasle Bentley. LaTausha was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and had recently enrolled in Culinary School to achieve her lifelong goal of becoming a chef. She was employed by Optum in 2008 until her untimely passing. She loved her job so much. LaTausha and Dominique met at Walmart, where their courtship began. They were married on February 14, 2012. From this union three sons were born, Dominique Jr., DeMonti Daniel Lee and DeMarcus. Her children were a ray of sunshine and she was committed to making them smile. LaTausha was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt who loved her family dearly. She was a compassionate person to everyone who path she was blessed to come across. She will truly be forever missed. She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Pierre, Dominique Jr., Martese and DeMonti; mother, Angela Day; grandmother, Barbara Day; brother, Deion Mitchell; sisters, LaTedra Tilford and LaToya Tilford; nephews, Darius Mitchell and Montae Mitchell; nieces, Roykay Mitchell and Lyric Moten, Rouzeila and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
