Lee Edward Allen, 65 of Kansas City, MO aka Cowboy passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Research Medical Hospital in Kansas City Missouri.

Lee Edward Allen was born December 26, 1954 in Montrose, Arkansas and relocated to Kansas City, MO in 1986. Lee Edward is the son of the late Olivia Vaughn-Allen and Theodis Allen.

Lee Edward received his education at Lakeside High School where he played football. Lee Edward enjoyed playing sports in his early days, riding and training horses. Lee Edward worked as a construction worker for over thirty years. He worked for Fairway Optical Products, Inc in maintenance for 12 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Vinson Allen.

Lee Edward is survived by his son Daron E. Allen (Jessica); of Barksdale Air Force Base, LA, daughter Anita Dawson of Little Rock, AR; seven grandchildren: Eskia 20, Sharel 15, Dewayne 12, Deliah 12, Shadarien 12, Cyan 11 and Sanaya 6. Six sisters; Joann Pierson, Theola King, and Olivia Moffitt all of Kansas City, MO; Renee Allen-Maisonet (Eduardo) of Atlanta, GA; Vergie Allen of Banning, CA; Clara Allen-Harris (Rickie) of Barstow, CA. His brothers Fredrick Dewayne Morris of Kansas City, MO and Richard Allen (Monique) of Victorville, CA. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, co-worker and friends that love him.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment Twelve Gates Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 12. Services provided by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
