Obituary

Lee Earnest Patton, 74, KCMO, passed away on March 11, 2018 at Research Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born July 18, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Carl Patton and Sarah Henderson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Pappas and grandson, Jerome Pittman. Lee was educated in the public schools of Kiblah, Arkansas and attended Kiblah High School. He was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church in Kiblah.

Lee moved to Kansas City, Missouri and married his first love, Marjorie A. Stuckey on February 13, 1964. To this union four beautiful children were born.

Lee worked for Wilson Plumbing and Rigby Lithograph Printing Company. He was more recently employed at Midland Lithograph Printing Company, where he worked over thirty years retiring in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and playing dominos as a pastime.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of fifty-three years, Marjorie A. Patton; two sons, Derrick Patton and Michael Birts; four daughters, Annette Woods (Clarence), Phelistia Patton, Cynthia Stallings and Regina Raney (Demarcus); one Godson, Michael Addison; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two loving siblings, Charles Patton, Sr. (Arma) and Sandra Wright; one aunt, Grace Henderson and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, March 24, 1:00 p.m. at United Believers Community Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens Visitation 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
