Lethe L. Johnson, 80, passed away on March 14, 2019 at the home. She was born January 18, 1939 in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica to Frederick Johnson and Lucille Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Lethe received her education in both Roses Valley and Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. At a young age she accepted Christ and was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

Lethe was employed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in the Environmental Services Department. She later worked in Housekeeping at Yellow Freight and Trucking System from which she retired in 2005.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Frederick and Shemmeth; four daughters, Estella, Maveline, Carol and Judith; one sister, Glazie; one grandson, Damon; three granddaughters, Paulina, Syan and Shamyah; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom love and will miss her dearly.

Funeral services Saturday, March 30, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
