Linda Lagail Riggins, 60, KCMO, passed away on June 14, 2016. She was born November 22, 1955 in Kansas City Missouri to Nesser Norville and Bernice Gragg. Linda was the fifth of eight children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Riggins and one sister Anita Louise Gragg. Linda attended Manual High School, but graduated from Job Corp in New Mexico in 1973. She attended Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City where she received a Dental Assistant Certification. Linda was a faithful employee of the Vital Statics Department at The City of Kansas City until her retirement. Linda professed Christ at an early age and attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kim Gladney. To many family and friends she was known as 'Cowboy.' She enjoyed doing yard work, reading, playing cards, fishing, cooking for family gatherings, and caring for her grandchildren. Linda leaves to cherish her memory: two loving sons, Michael Anthony Gragg (Sarah) and Dominique Riggins (Denitra); one endearing brother, Eddie Ray Dailey (Vergie); five loving sisters, Laverne Collins, Wanda Douglas, Brenda Wah, Shirley Tilghman, and Sandra Collins. She leaves eight grandchildren to carry on her legacy: Zye Riggins, Briyahnna Riggins, Denaja Riggins, Daesha Dudley, Davonta Dudley, Daeshaun Dudley, Daenisha Dudley, and Devieon Dudley; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends that will forever love and miss her. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 18, 12:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the church.
