Linda J. Wren, 56 was born on June 11, 1964 to Willie and Jessie M. Wren in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie M. Wren, two brothers, Larry Wren and Robert Wren, two sisters, Betty Jo Wren and Victoria Poole and one son, Terry L. Wren.

Linda was a lifelong area resident and attended the Kansas City Public Schools. She had a great love for children and became the family daycare provider, opening her own daycare center.

Linda was affectionately called "Mama Do" ,as she aged and the family grew she became everybody's "Mama Too". She was the neighborhood beautician and was one of the best cooks in the family. She will always be remembered for the love she gave to the children and her family.

She departed this life on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Research Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, special friend, Stuart Mitchell, Jr.; her children, Shauntah, Jerry, Nicole, David and Michael; father, Willie Wren; brothers, James, Rashad, Daniel, Lorenzo, Larry II, Craig and Willie III; sisters, Toni, Connie, Frances, Barbara, Dece, Cynthia, Randy and Rochelle; a host of grandchildren; one great grandchild, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16, at 4:00pm the Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Private Disposition. Visitation 3:00pm-4:00pm at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on this website. Due to the COVID 19 Panademic all guest are required to wear mask.
