Lorene Whitley, 80, KCMO, went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 15, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ollie and Jessie B. Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Whitley II; and children, Cecil Whitley III, Jerome Whitley, Teresa Green, and Tracey Whitley.

Lorene was a loving mother, caring grandmother and a thoughtful woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lorene Whitley is survived by her children, Yolanda Washington, Dwayne Whitley (Stephanie), Regina Landry (Bruce), Pamela Inman (Bert), and Andre Whitley; 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
