Loretta
Hinton
Apr 22, 1950 — Jan 20, 2018
Loretta Hinton was born on April 22, 1950 to the union of Luther Earl Hinton, Jr. and Lois McCleod in Roland, Arkansas. Her parents; two sons, Isaac Smith and Jyrone Smith; great grandson, Ayden O'Neal Smith and brother-in-law, James Alexander all preceded her in death.
Loretta grew up with nine siblings in a loving Christian home. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Her enthusiasm to live and fulfill God's purpose allowed Loretta to serve in multiple areas of ministry at her church, in addition to singing with the Gospel Muzzettes for many years.
Loretta was a C.N.A. and nail technician working at Net's House of Splendor. She later became the owner and operator Tanya & Loretta's Hair and Nails Unlimited. She truly loved God and through that her life witnessed a miracle to everyone she encountered by surviving a stroke after the doctors announced that her life was to be short lived, however God allowed her to live twenty additional years. "We have been truly blessed by God allowing Loretta to be around us this long", her family states.
Life on earth was set to an end for Loretta on Saturday, January 20, 2018. With the same Christian faith as Loretta, we are confident in knowing that she is finally at rest inside God's eternal kingdom.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Keith, Tyrone (Chantel), and Miguel; siblings, Evelyn Alexander, Diane Hinton, Tanya Standback (Bobby), Sharon Griffin (Kelvin), Christine Washington, Teresa McKenzie, Ramona Roston (Girard), Kenneth Hinton (Iris), Willis Hinton (Mary), and Eric Strickland; a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and longtime friends who will miss her presence.
