Louis Edward Greer, Jr., 39, KCMO, passed away on August 15, 2017. He was born on July 29, 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis Edward Greer, Sr. and Anita Denise Greer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Damon Davis, Jr., Annie Louise "Big Mama" Davis, and Irene Lenzy. "Brother", as he was affectionately known, lived in the Kansas City area all his life. He was educated in the Kansas City public schools, graduating from Northeast High School and attended Wright University to further his education. He worked various jobs throughout the Kansas City area, ending his career at Beltmann North America. Louis accepted Christ at an early age at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Louis was kind and had the heart of kid. He was always trustworthy of everyone who crossed his path. He was the jokester of his family and always had a smile on his face. Louis was loved and will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish his memory: four sons, Elijah Greer, Keveon Greer, Xavier Greer and Quinton Greer; father, Louis E. Greer, Sr.; mother, Anita D. Greer; one brother, Mark Greer; one sister, one nephew, two nieces, one great nephew and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Saturday, August 26, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
