Louise Marie Hill A daughter's job well done Louise Marie Hill was born on March 3, 1943 to Elmer Jones & Sarah Booker Jones in Great Bend, Kansas. Louise was the eldest of six sisters her childhood and teens was spent in Great Bend Kansas. Louise graduated from Great Bend high school in 1961 from Great Bend High, after graduation she moved to Kansas City, MO to pursue her nursing career. Louise had her first child at the age of 21, daughter Aleisa, her boys were soon to follow Kenneth, Michael, Tyrone, and D'Angleo. Louise was a very hard and dedicated worker. She showed her family and friends that through hard work and dedication any dream could be accomplished. Louise was known for her deep love for God, she had a personal relationship with her Heavenly Father and she instilled that quality into her children. Louise would often say when she was on the phone that she had to get off the phone to go read her bible. After hard work and long hours; she received her RN license and worked at several hospitals in the Missouri and Kansas area, Louise reached the heights of a nurse administrator. She had numerous accomplishments however the one she was most proud of was developing the Healthy Start program in Kansas City, Kansas. Louise loved her family, one of her hobbies was making clothes for her grandchildren. Another hobby she loved was taking care of her yard and plants she truly had a green thumb (her plants were beautiful). When she was able she loved being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was such a blessing to her family. She was proceeded in death by her father Elmer Jones, her mother Sarah Jones, and her sister JoAnn. Louise leaves behind her daughter Aleisa Horne (Kansas City, MO), her sons Kenneth Horne (Kansas City, MO), Michael Horne (Kansas City, MO), Tyrone & LueCreasea Horne (Hill City, KS), and D'Angleo Hill (Kansas City, MO). Her beloved sisters Elanora, Rosemary, Theodora, and Marilyn. Ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and five great great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A poem by Tyrone PRAISE Dear God, thank you for me being able to drop to my knees! You are the one who gave me ears to hear and eyes to see! You gave me peace when I couldn't sleep! You always rescued me from my mess, even when sometimes I did it to myself! What do you say to someone who blesses you in every way? Just give Him Praise everyday!
Funeral service will be Friday, December 4, 2020, at 2:00pm at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Private Disposition. Visitation 1 pm - 2 pm at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences maybe shared on our website.
