Obituary

Malcolm Eugene Johnson passed away on March 10, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 63 years. Malcolm was preceded by his father Howard Johnson, mother Jessie Johnson and sister, Karen Johnson.

A native of Kansas City, Malcolm attended Westport High School, Wentworth Military Academy, and Park College, where he studied radio and television production.

In 1976, he began working for KPRS Broadcasting Corporation as a part-time weekend announcer and was later promoted to the position of a full-time announcer. Eventually, his interest changed; he went on to explore opportunities within the facilities management industry, and then found his niche working in the transportation logistics industry, where he held several site-management titles.

Malcolm will be lovingly remembered by his children, April (Clarence), Deja, and Tiauni. He will also be remembered by his five grandchildren, Chloe, Alexandria, Calliyah, Londynn, and Antonio Jr.; and his siblings, Michelle, Michael, Thurman, and Jiles. He leaves behind a wife, six nephews and ten nieces an aunt, Alice of Fort Carson, Colorado, and a host of friends and family.

Funeral services Thursday, March 21, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
