Kita was unique, giving life in every room entered and was always her authentic self. At a
very young age she knew exactly who she was destined to be in this world "Thee Kita Bee".
With Kita, you knew exactly what you were going to get in any situation. Whether it be love,
a good cursing, laughter or fun, Kita was going to tell it as is. You would often hear her say
"Don't get your diamonds and pearls crushed" all while laughing or with a smile that
couldn't be replaced. Kita was a survivor, resilient, and always managed to come out on
top. Kita was also an entertainer, always modeling and imitating her idol Mary J. Blige to
give love and laughter to friends, family, and peers. To family, that's just who Kita was. She
would do anything to make the next person smile and laugh no matter what she was
enduring at the moment. Kita was family oriented. A protective, comical, feisty, fashion
guru that loved to eat and cook. Sometimes you would catch Kita cooking five different
meals in one day. Kita was a transgender ICON. One of the original Kansas City trans
women of color who played a significant role in mentoring many of her sisters in the
community. She was loved and cherished by both families.
Kita leaves to cherish her memories; her father; Robert Robinson. Bonus Dad; Raymond
Suber (Gayle). Bonus Mom; Kris Wade. Siblings; Shenekia McCarver, Raynisha Elbert
Suber, Terry Williams, and Keon Williams. A host of family, friends, peers, and everyone
who loved "Thee Kita Bee".
