Margaret Marie
Arnold
Jan 15, 1941 — Sep 10, 2024
On September 10, 2024, Margaret Arnold peacefully departed this life at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents: John Henry Rowe and Eldora L. Rowe, husband Joseph C Arnold Sr, daughter Deborah Rowe, sisters Annie Bush, Doris Rowe, and Thelma Hatcher, & brothers Truman Rowe, Willie Rowe, and John H. Rowe.
Margaret Marie Arnold (Rowe) was born January 15, 1941 to John Henry and Eldora L. Rowe in Wadley, Alabama. Margaret attended local schools in Randolph County, Alabama and continued her education at the Randolph Roanoke Training Center in nursing.
Shortly after completing training in nursing, she left Alabama for Kansas City, MO where she met and married her husband of 58 years, Joseph C. Arnold Sr. in 1962. To this union, 3 children were born: 2 daughters and 1 son (Valerie, Chandra, and Joseph Jr).
Margaret continued her nursing career in Kansas City, MO., where she specialized in private care. She was able to practice private care in hospitals, patients homes, and even other facilities. Margaret was able to create so many personal relationships with many of her patients, including The Hall Family (founder of Hallmark).
Joe and Margaret Arnold were one of many founding members of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ, in Kansas City, MO under the leadership of Rev. Earl Abel.
Mrs. Arnold's love for family was shown in many forms; her most proudest was the formation of the Busbee Family Reunion's. She was able to bring the family together from all around the United States to fellowship and love on each other. Secondly, she loved the holidays. She enjoyed being able to cook delicious meals from scratch, with no exact recipes. It was all made from love and memory. Margaret was blessed beyond measure to have the experience of traveling. Traveling with her family and loved ones always put the biggest smile on her face. Anytime she traveled, she always made a new friend. There was never a stranger she had met that she didn't like. Margaret was known to be so kind, generous, sweet, and most of all the first to help anyone that needed her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Valerie Dupriest (Julius), Chandra Arnold, and Joseph Arnold Jr. (Sherrice), all of Kansas City, MO., 5 grandchildren: Latoya Rowe, Brice Parks, Brittany Arnold-Jones, Elana Marie Jones, and Brett Arnold-Jones, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 2 sisters Ruby Staples of Kansas City, MO. and Hazel Rowe of Ft. Pierce, FL., 1 aunt Agnes Busbee of McDonough, GA., a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends & loved ones.
Mrs. Margaret Marie Arnold will truly be missed by all for many different reasons, but most of all her smile and infectious "LAUGH" will forever be cherished.
