Marie "Pumpkin" Armstrong, 52, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully, January 28, 2022 with her family by her bedside. Marie was born August 25, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Leonard and Lizzie Armstrong. Her mother Lizzie Armstrong preceded her in death. Marie was educated in the Kansas City School District. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1987. She was employed at Life Care Center of Grandview as a C.N.A. Marie "Pumpkin" Armstrong leaves to cherish her memory; Her father, Leonard Armstrong, of Bruce, Mississippi; Her daughters, Shakendra Vineyard and Da Mesha Vineyard; her son, Da Mese Vineyard; two grandchildren; Elijah and Israel Vann; five siblings; Arlene Martin (Anthony), KCMO; Danny Armstrong (Carla) Raytown, MO; Sandy Chaney (Karl) KCMO; Theresa Armstrong, KCMO, Latasha Armstrong (Damon Howard), Tampa, FL. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 11.
