Marion Faye Turner, 65, was born January 10, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late James and Ruth (Biggs) Pennington. As a lifetime area resident, Marion was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and attended East High School. Marion accepted Christ and was a member of Rose of Sharon Church. She worked as waitress for number years. Marion departed this life on May 10, 2017 at her home in Independence, Missouri. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Kelly Turner; one daughter, Kristy Turner; two brothers, Steven E. Cass and David E. Cass; one sister, Linda Pettis; two grandchildren, Jamie and Jeffrey; a host of other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services will be Friday, May 19, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
