Marsha Faye Bell, 69, was born on August 22, 1950 to the union of Herman G. and Darcus M. (Woodard) Bell in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the fourth of seven children born. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Courtney Bell, son, Brad and daughter, Rachel.

Marsha was a lifelong area resident and was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She furthered her education at the University of Missouri Kansas City campus, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company later renamed A T & T until she retired, when health begin to fail.

Marsha loved to travel with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was an advocate for Children's Research and she made numerous contributions to different agencies involved in that field of interest.

God called, Marsha home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Brighton Gardens Care Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Paul Bell (Monique), Mark Bell (Talita), Kansas City, MO and Brett Williams (Cachet), Blue Springs, MO; one daughter, Bernadette Bell, Kansas City, MO; three brothers, Don Bell, Herman Bell, Jr. and Sylvester Bell; three sisters, Herma Young, Sheila Battles and Sylvia Bell; seventeen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, November 30, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
