Mary "Evelyn" Eldridge Boone, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, was born to the late Lacy Eldridge and Mary Leach Eldridge in Dumas, Arkansas. She made Kansas City, Missouri, her home for 64 years and transitioned peacefully on December 24, 2024.

Evelyn was a dedicated & faithful member of Concord Fortress of Hope Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

She pursued her education in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, earning an associate degree from AM&N College.

Her professional journey included 23 dedicated years at Western Electric in Lee's Summit, Missouri, followed by a fulfilling 20-year career as a CNA at John Knox Village.

Evelyn was a deeply loving and nurturing soul who brought comfort and care to all who knew her. She had a radiant smile, an infectious laugh, and a joyful spirit that brightened every room. Known for her elegance and creativity, Evelyn had a talent for decorating, a passion for fitness, and a steadfast faith that guided her throughout her life.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Hope Eldridge (Kansas City, MO), Tracy Burch (Grandview, MO), Nedra Eldridge (Phoenix, AZ), and Reuben Boone (Kansas City, MO), and through her grand & great grandchildren.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
