Mary K. Brown, 63, passed away on March 7, 2019 at Research Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1955 to Buddy Brown and Willett Bethea in St. Joseph, Missouri. Her father and one sister, Henrietta Brown preceded her in death. Mary was educated in the public schools of St. Joseph, Missouri, from which she graduated. After high school she relocated to Kansas City, Missouri where she made her home over for forty years. Mary was a daycare provider in her home for many years. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and aunt who enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Otis Brown; one daughter, Talona Dickens; mother, Willett Bethea; four brothers, Andrew Brown, Herman Brown, Oscar Bethea and Quincy Brown; eight grandchildren, two great granddaughters and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
