She was the eldest of seven children, and was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Terrance Stinson and Joseph Stinson. The family moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1956 where Ann received her education, and graduated from Manual High School in 1969. She married Pete, the love of her life on June 14, 1969. To this union two children were born. They were married for forty-three years before he preceded her in death in January of 2013. Ann accepted Christ at an early age and joined Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended Sunday School regularly. Later, she moved her membership to Second Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in the New Members Ministry. She often attended Christian Charity Church. Ann was employed at Southwestern Bell for thirty-two years, beginning as an operator before moving into management and retiring in 2002. Ann loved decorating her home and was a shopaholic. Her children were the love of her life as she enjoyed spending time with each one of them, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always looking for a bargain to spoil them with. Ann also enjoyed family gatherings and the time she spent with her brothers and sisters.
