Mary Lee Roby, 86, was born February 26, 1932 in Sallis, Mississippi to the union of C.D. and Vera Ward Collins. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Dave Roby; first husband, Harold D. Hill; three sons, Bobby Roby, Levy Roby and Keith Hill; one daughter, Rosa Lee Mack; and three sisters, Eris Parker, Dora Campbell and Kassie Lee Collins-Rockett.

Mary Lee attended Roby High School in Sallis, MS. She worked at Kelly Nursing and Company as a LPN and at San Francisco Towers in Kansas City.

Mary Lee attended Friendship Baptist Church, becoming a licensed Missionary under Dr. J.C. Haynes in the early 90's. Prior to her passing she attended Greater Works Family Worship Center.

Some of Mary's favorite things to do were arts and crafts, baking, shopping and reading her bible. She was a very kind spirited person and her main focus in life was Christ. She loved her children and church family dearly.

Mary departed this life on January 1, 2019 at Edgewood Nursing Home in Raytown, Missouri.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four sons, Roger Hill (Melanie), Rickey Hill, Kenneth Hill and Anthony Hill (Christine); three daughters, Cynthia Robinson, Sylvia Taylor and Bonnie Roby; thirty grandchildren, sixty-five great grandchildren, five great-grand God children, and a host of great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, January 19, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Works Family Worship Center. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
