Melissa Ann 'Lisa' Robinson, 59, of Omaha, Nebraska, traded her earthly shoes for Heavenly Wings on June 16th, 2017, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. Lisa was born January 11th, 1958 to Marvin and Beverly Robinson in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Independence, Missouri where she served as Assistant Sunday School Secretary. Lisa graduated from William Chrissman High School in 1976. In 2007, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she resided until her death. She is preceded in death by one sister, Marissa Annette Robinson. Lisa leaves to mourn: one daughter, Christina Francois (Marvin) of Kansas City, MO; her parents, Marvin and Beverly Robinson of Independence, MO; one sister, Linda Robinson-Smith of Independence, MO; one uncle, Leon Allen (Dianne) of Richmond; one aunt, Arlene Buford (Charles) of Richmond; two grandchildren, Jayden Francois and Diamond Francois. She also leaves behind Chauntae Robinson, Steven Robinson, Beverly Marshelle Robinson, and a host of other nephews, nieces, and cousins. Lisa loved her family, we will truly miss her. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 1, 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church of Independence. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
