Melvin Bruce Stanley, a self-taught mechanic, and a lifelong resident of KCMO passed away suddenly on April 21st, 2024.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 40 years Sandee Stanley, 3 sons Shawn Summers, Danial (Kimberly) Stanley, and Mathew (Samantha) Stanley. 4 granddaughters; Ivy, Braylie, Jazmine, and Iverson. 4 grandsons; Caleb, Christian, Chase, and Lincoln. And several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Bruce was born January 19th, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri to Melvin W. Stanley and Ailean E Stanley.

Bruce was very passionate about his family, racing, fast cars, lawn mowers. He raced until the early 80's and continued to tinker with cars and projects. He had the uncanny ability to fix almost anything with a motor. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, papa, and friend. He made friends all over the community. His smile and boisterous laugh will be missed by many.
