Obituary

Miale Davida Anderson, 45, passed away December 30, 2018 at Research Medical Center. She was born August 13, 1973 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Sherman and Manya Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father Sherman Anderson, grandmother Betty J. Mathis, grandfather Melvin "Sonny" Anderson, grandmother Lydia Jane Hercey and grandfather Samuel P. Hercey.

Miale began serving the Lord at an early age and was baptized when she was 16 years old. She served in the church choir, SCLC and the Young Matrons. Her angelic voice could be heard at various events, including weddings, birthdays, and even performing the National Anthem at rodeo events.

Miale was educated in the Kansas City Public School District attending Lincoln Preparatory Academy and graduating from Southeast High School. She worked most of her life in the medical field as a certified medical technician.

Miale was a generous daughter, sister, sista-cousin, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. She was known to always have a smile on her face and enjoyed a life full of laughter.

Miale leaves behind two sons, Sean Anderson of Kansas City, MO and Luther Carter of Lawton, OK; grandson, Lawson Anderson of Kansas City, MO; mother, Manya McLoyd and step-father, Wallace McLoyd, Jr. of Lawton, OK; sister, Renae Nelson (Arron) of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Rochelle "Coco" Sanders of St. Croix, Virgin Islands and Eboni Isoa (Matthew) of Stockbridge, GA; brothers, Sherman Laron Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Devin Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, and Bryan Davis (Hannah) of Kansas City, MO; sista-cousin, Nichole Thomas (Andre) of Kansas City, MO; step-sister and Mercedes Tillman of Overland Park, KS; step-brother Wallace Brandon Mcloyd of Denver, CO; a host of a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services Friday, January 4, 7:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
