Michael D. Armstrong, 50, was born on July 19, 1969 to Rev. Robert Baker and Eloise Jean Armstrong in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death.

Michael was educated in the Kansas City public schools. He gave his life to Christ as a teenager .He was attending Morning Star Baptist Church. He was a volunteer in several activities at the church. He also did volunteering in and around the greater Kansas City area.

Michael was a technician for Sodecia Automotives. He was engaged to be married to Cardella Johnson. He was a loving father, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Michael departed this life Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his fiance, Cardella Johnson, Kansas City, MO; his daughters, Kayona Armstrong and Ashley Nave, Kansas City, MO and Brittney Spigel (Allen), Denton, TX, son, Matthew Nave (Michelle), Kansas City, MO and brother, Leroy R. Armstrong,Jr., (Genena), McKinney, TX; sisters, Penny Bass (Curtis), Raytown, MO and Jolene Davis, Kansas City, MO; nephews, Marik, Curtis III, Lucas, Romel, Jahvon and Curtis IV; nieces, Joy, Olivia, Jordan and Kiya; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, special friends, Harold Scott, DeJuan Cutchlow, Mitchell McHenry, Lee-Lee and Rashed.

Funeral service Saturday, June 20, 2020, 5:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Private disposition. Visitation 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
