Michael Odell Martin, Jr., 48, passed away on May 16, 2018 in Joplin, Missouri. He was born November 27, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri to Michael Odell Martin, Sr. and Maxine Martin. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandmother Dorothy Alexander, and brother James Lee Martin.

Michael Martin was educated in the Kansas City Public Schools. He accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church.

Michael was kind and generous person who was willing to help others anyway he could and he loved to cook.

Michael leave to cherish his memory; a son, TraQuan Peavler of Joplin, MO; daughter, Kylla Martin; grandson, Dy'Aire Martin; a brother, Johnny Martin (Marriann); two sisters, Dawn Martin and Sheneice Martin; grandmother, Kaye Horton; aunt, Brenda Dark; and a host of other relatives and friends.
