Milrene Todd, 82, passed away at Highland Nursing Home on December 21, 2016. She was born May 19, 1934 in Stephens, Arkansas to the late Otis and Clara Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Todd; son, John A. Todd; daughter, Betty J. Todd-Pickens; three brothers and three sisters. Milrene was educated in the public schools of Stephens, Arkansas. She accepted Christ at an early age. Milrene was on the Mother Board, Usher Board and also sang in the choir at Bible Way Baptist Church. She later joined Macedonia Baptist Church. Milrene loved to cook and was blessed to be employed in the culinary profession for many years where she worked for Muehlebach Hotel, Holiday Inn and Hyatt Regency. She also loved to laugh and was very outspoken. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Jimmie L. Todd; three daughters, Patsie A. Todd, Belinda A. Manning and Phyllis M. Todd; sister, Dochia Pettus; eleven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, many other loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 31, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel.
