Monique Lenora Fayshun Williams, 45, OPKS, passed away on April 6, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born April 11, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri to Johnny J. Williams, Sr. and Mary Helen Reece. Her grandmother, Arzelia Macon and sister, April M. Williams preceded her in death. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Monique graduated from Paseo High School and furthered her education at Penn Valley Community College, where she then earned her Licensed Practical Nursing certification. She was just six months from receiving her Registered Nursing certification. Monique was employed with Delmar Gardens and Midwest Home Healthcare. She was always a hard worker, the driving force behind that being her children, Sakeithia, Chantell, Joe, DaMonique, Raquel, Mageena, and Adaysia. She wanted nothing but the best for them. She was such a loving a caring woman whose memory will on in the lives of all who knew and loved her. She is survived by: seven children, Sakeithia Wesson, Chantell Wesson, Joe Wesson, Jr., DaMonique Wesson, Raquel Wesson, Mageena Williams and Adaysia Williams; her father, Johnny J. Williams, Sr. (Van); mother, Mary H. Andrews and stepfather, Rodney Andrews, Sr.; two brother, Johnny J. Williams, Jr. and Rodney L. Andrews, Jr.; four sisters, Arzelia M. Boyd (Bryant), Tanganika L. Chalfant (Rodney), Adrianna Williams and Shannel R. Williams; fiance, Jerome Harriston; eight grandchildren and a host of loving uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and many friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Church International. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
