Sallard Sr.

Myron James Sallard Sr., 70, was born on April 17, 1952 to the union of Arthur Harold Sallard and Norma Jean Young in Chicago, Illinois. Myron and his family later move to Kansas City Missouri in 1961.
Myron was proceeded in death by both parents Arthur Sallard and Norma Young, One son Myron Jr. Four brothers, Berdell Sallard, Michael Sallard, Kevin Sallard, and Roderick Sallard, two uncles, two aunts and other close relatives.
Myron was married to Denise Sallard to that union were four sons. He later married Rose Sallard no children to that union.
Myron later on met his soul mate and the love of his life, Vickie Younes, she proceeded him in death just five months ago after being together for over 25 years. Myron and Vickie were inseparable. They really had one of a kind love for each other. Myron truly loved her so much and both of them are back together and will be truly missed.
Myron received his education at Manuel High School and went to Excelsior Springs Job Corps where he graduated with his electrical training.
After graduation Myron got his first electrician job at KU Med Center and worked there as a master, certified, bonified, seasoned, senior electrician. Myron was a faithful worker and stayed on his job at KU Med Center for 40 years until he retired.
He was a fair and a honest man, that would help anyone he could. He earned several nicknames, that included, Money Dogg, Pikey, Pasqualay, Blue Maxx and Poppa Max.
Myron also rightfully earned, won, and was awarded the lnternational DJ title of Blue Max. Blue Max played a variety of music including old school, jazz, blues, and gospel.
He had a passion for making, cds, and creatively putting his voice on the cd in an entertaining, phenomenal, and personalized special kind of way. Myron and his soulmate, Vickie were both notoriously, world class in their love. When Blue Maxx and Lady V started to jam the rest of the neighborhood shut their musical equipment down in order to listen to their beautifully generated, smoothly jamming in the background and foreground sounds. Their sounds were more original than KPRS. When the scene got cranked up to a high crescendo at a Blue Max family gathering, he started his show stopping mesmerizing James Brown dropping to the floor to perform the alligator dance
Myron and Vickie were known for their pleasant hospitality, deep family love and their Gates style ribs, links and chicken and his famous BBQ he made from scratch. Maxx had multiple grills and would feed anyone. Myron loved all his children, brothers, sister and extended family.
Myron made many sacrifices in his lifetime by being a great man and outstanding father to his children.
Blue Max lived in Chicago, at 3833 South Federal, Apt # 1507. While in Chicago, one of Myron's fondest memories is going to the Starved Rock State Park, and also riding the Chicago l Train to the Amusement Park, named River View. Myron enjoyed riding the subway rails to River View.
Myron also had a love for trains and locomotives and had a goal of becoming a conductor one day.
Myron started reading the Bible daily and demonstrated a close affection and deep affiliation with Gods only son, Jesus Christ.
Myron departed this life on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at home. Myron will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Myron leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Issac Murrell of Kansas City, Mo, Andre Murrell of Kansas City and Michael Sallard of Kansas City, Mo, Two daughters Reauchaan Williams of Fort Worth, Tx and Keosha Moore (Steven) of Kansas City, Mo. One brother Arthur Sallard of Phoenix, AZ and his only sister Norma Norman (Lemuel) of Kansas City, Mo. Nine Grandchildren, A best friend for many years Gary, a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, family and friends.
