Nettie Mae Birch, 95, passed away on September 6, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1924 to the union of Henry and Aldean Munson in Bristow, Oklahoma. She was the eldest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Floyd James Chatman, daughter Vivian B. Woolridge and two grandchildren, Rozeta Jones and Clifford Taylor.

Nettie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized. She was currently a member of Grace Unlimited Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A. L. Johnson, Jr., where she served on the Mother Board. Nettie was united in marriage to Milton Birch, Sr., who also preceded her in death. She loved her family and friends. She was a excellent cook and kept her house sparkling at all times. Nettie was employed by Boeing Air Craft in Wichita, Kansas for many years. After her employment at Boeing she became a longtime care giver, she loved helping people. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Milton Birch, Jr.; granddaughter/daughter, Shelia D. Harrison, whom she raised from six weeks old; step son, Kenneth Birch (Kathy); step daughter, Lois Birch; daughter-in-law, Donna Chatman; eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, forty-four great-great grandchildren; two special nephews, James Fields and Rodney Bethel; two special nieces, Patricia Williams and Tonya Canady; special friends, Ella Woods, Earlene Rollings, Pacoluer Sapp and Earnestine Mason; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services Saturday, September 14, 11:00 a.m. Grace Unlimited Missionary Baptist Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
