Nora Jean Osborne, 63, KCMO, passed away on June 21, 2016. She was born September 5, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ned and Maude Esther Osborne. She was preceded in death by both parents and a nephew, Marlon Osborne. Nora spent her childhood in Muskogee, Oklahoma until she moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1966 where she attended Manual Vocational & Technical High School. She attended Boone Tabernacle Church of God In Christ. Nora worked for many years in the dietary unit of Truman Medical Center from which she retired in 2008. She loved life and attending concerts, place and family celebrations, especially the 4th of July. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Kabathia Osborne (John), Armond Osborne, Rashaan Osborne and their father, Virgil Fisher, Jr.; sisters, Judy Crawford, Josephine Chism, Esther Kershaw (Mark) and Maxine Osborne-Baston; special friend, Wanda; five grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 2, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
