Novelle C. Moore, 80, was born March 9, 1938 to union of Joseph Price, Sr. and Hazel (Welch) Price in Houma, Louisiana. Her parents and a brother, Cobbie Price preceded her in death.

Novelle, lovingly known as "Pinky", was reared in New Orleans, Louisiana and later moved to Kansas City where she made her home for over fifty years. She was united in marriage to Master Sergeant Charles Moore who also preceded her in death.

Novelle was employed at Children's Mercy Hospital as a supervisor in the Microfilm department for forty years. She was later employed as a construction laborer and was a member of Local Union #663. She was a very loving and outgoing person who loved life and enjoyed fishing, camping, movies and bowling.

Novelle was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and never missed watching a game. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, often barbecuing for them. She was very involved in the life of her grandchildren, taking them to swim meets, karate classes, track meets, football games and other activities that they were involved in.

Novelle departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Delena Moore of the home; one brother, Joseph Price, Jr. and one sister, Rosie Marie Price, both of Houma, LA; sister-in-law, Yvonne Edwards; grandchildren, Michelle, Fatimah and Michael; great grandchildren, Noah and Ania; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
