Orlando Gentry, 30, KCMO, passed away on September 19, 2017. He was born June 15, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri to Donald Newton and Cheryle Gentry, and was raised by Bobbie Jones. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Godfrey and Juanita Gentry. As a lifelong area resident, Orlando was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and attended Don Bosco High School. He was a former member of the Kansas City Marching Cobras. Orlando was a jack of all trades and would master anything he put his hands on. He was a hard worker and would take odd jobs to make ends meet for his family. Orlando loved his family. In his own comedic way, he touched the hearts of all he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children, Orlando Jr., DaMario, KeDhan, A'Riyan, Donelle, Armon, Braylon, Ciron, Za'Marion, Tynia, Terrion and Nyieema; mother, Cheryle Gentry; father, Donald Newton; brothers, Antonyo Gentry and Reaco Gentry; sisters, Tiesha Gentry, Myesha Gentry, Kyesha Gentry, Cyesha Gentry and Dorothy Davis; uncles, uncle, George Gentry (Ellen); aunt, Mary Davis; nephews, Keevon, Reaco Jr. and Lajuane; nieces, Aniyah, Serenity and Nykila; special cousins, Damond, Steven, Frances, Marquita, Shanetta, Tameka, Sarah, Brenda and Theresa; special friend, Victoria Williams; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
