Obituary

Orlando E. Gray, 32, KCMO, passed away on April 1, 2017 at the home. He was born February 27, 1985 in Kansas City, Missouri to Avette B. Gray and Antonio E. Mosby. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Mosby, Sr.; grandmother, Birdie McMillian; uncle, Calvin Wilkins and cousin, Cordell Mosby. Orlando was educated in the Kansas City public schools, attending Blenheim Elementary and graduating from Central High School. He accepted Christ and formerly attended Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Orlando loved listening to all sorts of music. His favorites included Mary J. Blige (his mom), Keith Sweat (his dad) and K. Michelle (his wife)! Orlando truly loved his family and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved. He leaves to celebrate his life: his father, Antonio E. Mosby; mother, Avette Gray; grandparents, Lee Bohannon (Mary Kay) and Gertrude Hardy (Eugene); great grandmother, Jestine Bohannon; four sisters, Quandra Gray of Texas, Charme Mosby, Antonia Mosby and Ciarra Glover; five uncles, Rasalee Greer, James Greer, Matthew Hill, Kenneth Mosby, Jr. and Lonie Williams; six aunts, Christina Greer, Leeanna Greer, Leyah Greer, Yvonne Griffin (Richard), Everlyn Wilkins and Beverly Turner (Joseph); God-sister, Gena Ingram of Shreveport, LA; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 8, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
