Pablo
Sanders, Jr.
Jun 5, 1988 — Dec 30, 2019
Pablo Jr. was born June 5, 1988 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri to Pablo Phinice Sanders Sr. and Andrea Colin Sanders. Pablo Jr. was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Rock, maternal grandparents, Ubaldo Colin and Facunda Colin Calderon, as well as maternal uncle and aunt Arturo Calderon and Esperanza Perez.
Pablo Jr. was educated in the Kansas City School District at Southwest Charter School and he graduated in 2006. Pablo worked in the service industry throughout the Kansas City Metro area.
Anyone that ever met Pablo Jr. knows the only thing he loved as much as his family and friends was his bike! Pablo Jr. had been riding all over Kansas City for 10 years. He became a central figure in the Kansas City biking group, Critical Mass. Pablo Jr. became somewhat of a local biking "legend", although he would never define himself that way. He was known for inspiring others to ride, ensuring the safety of all of the riders in the group and leading the group rides. His bike was more than a mode of transportation, it was the way he loved to connect with friends and take in sights of the city he so loved. One of his favorite sites was The Scout overlooking the city. If Pablo wasn't on his bike you may have found him somewhere in the city enjoying his favorite beverage, PB&J, with friends- laughing and saying "Bikes are dumb!" followed by "That's What's UP!"
Pablo Jr. told anyone that would listen "Life is better on a bike". That is how he lived, that is how he left us- doing the thing he loved most. Ride in Peace, Pablo.
Pablo Jr. departed this life on December 30th, 2019 in Kansas City Missouri.
Pablo Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his loving Parents Pablo Sr and Andrea Sanders, Brother Matthew Alexander Sanders, Sister Vanessa Gabriela Sanders and nephew Sebastian William Sanders. His grandmother Bettie Jean Rock, Uncles Noel Calderon, Larry Murrell Sr., Vincent Murrell, Lloyd Rock, Aunts Maria Matos, Pam Murrell, Opal Murrell, Ingrid Rock. His first cousins Dionne, Larrye, Anita, Larry Jr., LaDrew, Loren, Landon, Lindsey, Logan William, Langston, Kennedy. His best friends Lauren, Cara, Drew and Dustin. His Critical Mass biking family and a host of other friends he made along the way.
