Pamala J. Herron, 64, was born August 12, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas to her mother Betty Jean Sutton and was raised by her adoptive mother Christine Hillmon, both of whom preceded her in death. Pamala was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri School District where she attended Manual High School and later earned her General Education Diploma. She went on to receive her certification as a Nursing Assistant, using her skills to provide private duty care to ill and elderly patients. Pamala became interested and knowledgeable in all things political. Her favorite conversations were about politics and world events, which she often spoke about in depth to anyone who was willing to listen. She was extremely smart, classy, and very charming. Like a true Leo lioness, she was fiercely protective of her children and her entire family. Pamala departed this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home in Grandview, Missouri. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Monica Sims (Elvester), Ricardo Herron (Tonya), Shaina Herron, and Makyla Bennett; grandchildren, Sasha Williams, Kordero Williams (Ashley), Alexander Davis, Jewell Herron, Ramiyah Herron, and Zoe Herron; five great grandchildren; her sister and best friend, Amber Alvarado and a host of other relatives and friends.
