Obituary

Patricia 'Pat' Diane Anderson, 58, Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on February 4, 2017. She was born June 10, 1958, the daughter of the late Willie B. Anderson and Mary Thomas in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, three uncles and two aunts. Patricia attended the public schools of Kansas City and was a graduate of Central High School in 1976. She went on to Columbia College for two years and graduated from St. Mary's University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Management. While in Kansas City, she attended Friendship Baptist Church. In Omaha, she attended Salem Baptist Church. After college Pat went on to work for Union Pacific Railroad. She was the regional manager and remained there for thirty-eight years. While in Omaha she met Darryle Todd, her longtime partner, who was an important part of her life. Pat loved to read books, travel and shop in her spare time. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family: her life partner, Darryle Todd of Omaha, NE; siblings, Pam Anderson (Paul) of Houston, TX, Michael Anderson of Tomball, TX, Sharon Bell (Edward) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Janet Bouyer and James Thomas, Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; a special niece, Aja Bryant; nephews and nieces, Drake Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Marley Thomas and Maya Thomas; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 12:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
