Patricia Elaine Boswell-Wash, was born on October 18, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the union of Hugh Sims and Lee Ella (Harris) Sims.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, one sister Harriett Thomas, brothers Earnest Lonnell Harris, Clyde Sims and Hugh "June Bug" Sims.

Patricia was educated at Dunbar Elementary School, and Northeast Junior High. Patricia attended most of her high school years at Sumner High School, while finally graduating from Wyandotte High School, in 1966.

She began her career at Richard Bolling Federal Building Social Security Administration in 1967, where she worked until retirement in early 2000. She was loved by many while working at the Social Security Administration where she gained lifelong friends over the years.

She received God's Grace and Mercy at an early age. She became a beloved member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.

She met Earnest Wash Jr., who became the love of her life. They shared a beloved and cherished life of 43 years, and together they created an amazing daughter, Brianne Denise Wash. She leaves behind to cherish In her memory a loving husband, her children, siblings, and a host of close family and friends.

Services will be Monday, March 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Services will be conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funerals Directors Chapel. Condolences may be shared on the website.
