Patricia E.

Jun 27, 1953 — Aug 26, 2020
Patricia Elaine (Wade) Calhoun was born on June 27, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to the union of Elihue and Helen Wade. Pat was preceded in death by her son Christopher Eugene Calhoun, husband Henry Eugene Calhoun, brother Russell Wade and father Elihue Wade.
Pat graduated from Paseo High School in 1971. After high school she married Tyrone Robins and from that union Kimberly was born. God also blessed Pat with another beautiful baby girl, Trenelle. On May 17, 1981 she married Henry Eugene Calhoun who brought to the family his daughter Leslie and son Van. To this union twins Christopher and Christina were born.
She worked for Bendix a number of years and later transferred to the United States Postal Service where she retired in November, 2011.
Pat dedicated her life to Christ and was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church located at 43rd and Montgall, Kansas City, MO. Later in life she became a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO., under the leadership of Pastor Henderson L. Bell, where she worked with the Sunday School and was a member of the Serenity Praise Dance Team. She was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Jamaica and preform with the team.
In 2002 she transferred her membership to Grace Holy Trinity Baptist Church, Kansas City, KS., under the leadership of Pastor John Paul Jones where she started the Noon Day Bible Study and was a faithful member until her transition.
Pats heart desire was to do Gods Will, be financially blessed so that she could help her church, family, home and others. What she wanted first and foremost was to be loved by God. She wanted good health, a clean mind, and the ability to take care of herself, her family and her loved ones. Pat loved her family and loved to be in their presence.
