Patricia Ann Logan, 62 of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Patricia Ann Logan, also known as Pat, was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 27, 1959 to Willie and Irene Primers.
Pat attended school in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1977. After high school she went to cosmetology school. Pat was a creative soul who loved everything that had to do with beauty from make-up to hair trends. She was not limited to fashion design. She made several of her mother's dresses as well as the dress she wore for her first marriage.
Patricia was employed with the facilities department of UMKC gaining the love and respect from everyone who she met throughout the years from coworkers to students. She took great pride and joy in her accomplishments with her career. Her career lasted 30 + years until she retired in 2017.
From her first marriage she had four children: Andrew Forde Jr., Rachel Forde, Deron Forde, Courtnee Forde, and a stepson Edward Logan from her current marriage. Not everyone can really truly say that they had the opportunity to fall in love with their soulmate, but Patricia could.
In 2015 while leaving dialysis with her younger son, she met Joe Logan who decided to take a step towards their happiness. They dated for several years and in 2019, on September 14th, amongst family and friends they vowed to stay in love till death do them part. In the short time they were blessed to be together they created an eternity of love that most people will never know.
Patricia Anne Logan was preceded in death by her mother Irene Primers, little brother Lawrence Primers and surrounded by all her family went to join her father in heaven on September 30, 2021. Her physical form is gone, but her unforgettable spirit will live on in all our hearts.
Patricia is survived by her husband Joseph Logan, sons Andrew Forde Jr., Liberty, MO, Deron Forde (Mary), Independence, MO, and stepson Edward. Daughters Rachel and Courtnee Forde. She was blessed to have known her 8 grandchildren: Desiree Freeman, Sanderiah Haney, Elizabeth Lopez, Zaina Starr, Mathew Lopez, Ja'lon Madge, and Ashanti Forde. Of these blessings, she had the joyous opportunity to love her three great grandchildren: Uvaiah Jackson, Solomon Howard, and Scarlett Howard. She is also survived by her only nephew Keith Primers and niece Shanay Starling.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Visitation 2:00 p.m. – 3. Private Disposition. Masks and social distancing are required. Services provided by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
