Patricia (affectionately known by all as "Pat") Lee Watkins, was born December 15, 1947 to the union of Robert Watkins & Florence Watkins of Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by both parents and her sister-in-law Joyce Watkins.

Pat was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools, graduating from Central High School. Pat was a federal employee of the Social Security Administration for well over 20 years until retirement.

Pat accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong faithful member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, under the current leadership of Pastor William F. Snorgrass and the late Reverend A.M. Hudson, where she served as Sunday School Superintendent, Church Clerk, member of the WMU Naomi Circle, Adult Choir and We Care committee that offered financial assistance to members in need.

Pat loved to cook and bake. Her peach cobbler, cakes and banana pudding were off the chain! Her love and patience for children was such a wonderful blessing. Pat was a loving daughter, sister, aunt who will never be forgotten. She genuinely enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and shopping for her nieces and nephews. Even when her health began to fail, she always tried to keep and maintain her beautiful smile.

Pat will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat departed this life on October 4, 2020 at St. Joseph's hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory: two brothers, Michael Watkins (Dinah), Robert Watkins Jr., of Chicago, two sisters, Shirlette Tucker (Fred), Tanya Stephens (Marshall), nieces/nephews, Sheena & Markiel, Dara & Michaela, Jamar & Malcolm, great nieces and nephews and a host of relatives, church members and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Chapel. Closed Casket. Invitation only due to COVID-19. Interment will be at XII Gates Memorial Cemetery. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
