Patricia Ann Yates , 61, was born on October 11th, 1958 to Juanita Yates & Walter Blunt in Chicago, Illinois. Four children Robert Yates, Jerri Yates, Juanita Yates & Tina Moore preceded her in death.

Patricia grew up in the city of Chicago, attended Walter Reeds elementary up until she graduated through Englewood high school.

After her years of living in Chicago, she's moved to Wichita, Kansas in the late 90's. There she joined a new Foundation Church as an usher. She was known as a "Care Giver" & the "Candy Lady" as she lived on Millair with her grandchildren.

After years of living in Wichita, she's moved to Kansas City, MO. There's she's become a new member of a new church; Beyond the Four Walls Outreach Ministry. Patricia loved fishing, playing cards, dominoes, swimming, and what's more is that she was a loving, caring people person.

Patricia, passed away on August 10, 2020 at Truman Medical Center.

She leaves to mourn her passing: two children, Valerie and Thomas Yates of Wichita, KS; two brothers; JB Yates of Wichita,Ks & Marvin Yates of Indiana. four sisters; Marilyn Yates-Turner, of Chicago,IL , Diane Barney of Wichita, KS, Cassandra Barney of Chicago, IL and Margaret Barney of Arkansas

Funeral services Wednesday, August 19, 2020, 11:00 at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 am-11:00 am at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website. Due to the COVID 19 Panademic all guest are required to wear mask.
