Patrick L. Williams, 67, was born April 3, 1949 in Marshall, Texas to Anthony Williams II and Johnnie Mae Marshall-Bennett. His parents preceded him in death. Patrick was educated in the public schools of Marshall, Texas. As a United States Army veteran, he served two years before being discharged. Patrick was united in marriage to Ms. Elnora Shelton on April 3, 2015. Patrick was a genuine craftsman. He also liked doing yard work and taking walks. As a former bible school teacher, he enjoyed simply holding his bible and studying at any given time or place. Patrick departed this life on January 12, 2017 at his home. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Elnora Williams; daughters, Patricia L. Williams and Donnetta Foster (Maurice); brother, Anthony Williams III; sisters, Linda Sue Johnson and Marie Roberson; six grandchildren, Tryce, Courney, Tryston, Raphael, Ismael and Maurissa; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Friday, January 20, 1:00 p.m. at New Generation Christian Center. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
