Obituary

Life for Patsie Ann Madge-Cunningham began July 11, 1957 in Dumas, Arkansas. When parents Willie Mae Riley-Madge and Walter Madge Sr. were gifted a precious gem. Patsie born the baby of 18 Children. Educated in Kansas City, MO graduating from Central High School.

Preceded in death by 7 of her siblings: Brothers: Walter Madge Jr, Lee Madge Sr, Ivory Madge, Gregory Anderson and Perry Robinson, Sisters: Glova Briscoe and Betty Madge, and her Mother in Law; Hattie B. Naylor all awaiting her arrive at Heaven's gate along with their parents.

Along life's journey Patsie married the love of her life Larry Cunningham Sr. Patsie birthed four sons: Kevin Madge; Keilon Madge, Larry Cunningham Jr., and Raymone Cunningham (all of the home). Patsie and Larry also joined four more blessings into their life: Inez Nicholson, Markelo Baker, LaTis Hobby, and Keisha Jeffrey, Special Friend and Daughter Robin Jordan, Goddaughter Shaunte Price, Godson Alejandro Ferguson. Patsie and Larry shared a total of 46 years together.

Employed at Research Medical Center, Patsie was a dedicated and hard worker. Patsie brought smiles wherever she went. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Patsie being the mother she was also assisted in raising her nephews and nieces: Anthony, Jimmie, David, Angela, La'Shawnda, D'Auna, and Christopher. She was very family oriented.

Patsie began her life with Christ at Paradise M.B.C and later changed to Greater Bethel M.B.C under Rev. Victor Lee, where she served until, she returned home to her Lord and Savior. You could always find Patsie enjoying life. She loved traveling, two-stepping, eating, listening to music and going to the boat. Patsie enjoyed family reunions and just sitting around with family as often as possible. Most of all, she was a Devoted Mother and Wife.

Patsie will greatly be missed by her immediate family. She also leaves to mourn her transition six brothers; Isiah (Mary Lou) Spann, Sr, Raymond (Harriett) Madge; of Kansas City, MO. Eddie Madge, Tim Anderson, Joseph Anderson and Steven (Lisa) Anderson of Chicago, IL. Four Sisters: Helen (Al) Pankey; Velma Bly of Kansas City, MO. Sue (Calvin) Anderson, and Cheryl Anderson of Chicago. Five Sister-in-laws: Sharon Madge, Johan Erquhart, Annette Hatton, Jessie Cunningham, and Maude Esther Hinmon, and two brother-in-laws; J.W. Cunningham and Dwayne Austin. He also leaves to cherish her memory 48 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, her Research Family, a host of family and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, June 1, 3:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private Disposition. Visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
