Paul Eugene Roebuck, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 6, 1941 in Jackson, Tennessee to Taylor Long Roebuck and Elizabeth Givens, who preceded him in death.

He moved to Kansas City, Missouri at an early age and was a graduate of Central High School. He later married Carolyn Roebuck, who also preceded him in death.

Mr. Roebuck had many accomplishments and hobbies including being a member of the Masonic Lodge and the National Pheasant Organization. He also trained top breed bird dogs and was an avid fisherman and hunter. These were his true passions. Mr. Roebuck also loved racing cars, playing dominos and spending quality time with family.

He was a successful business owner and the first black insulator (Local Union) in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Roebuck gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Jamison Memorial Temple CME. He later became a member of Church of Christ and remained a member until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul E. Roebuck, Jr. "Pookie" and his brothers, Richard Roebuck and Dewayne Roebuck. He is survived by two daughters, Zandra Medlock (Ronnie) of Kansas City, MO and Tiffany Miller (Bryant) of Winston Salem, NC; five sons, Robert Wilson of Fulton, MO, Leland Roebuck of Kansas City, MO, Anthony Roebuck of Hollywood, CA, Lamar Roebuck (Chanita) and Corey Price both of Kansas City, MO; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, November 23, 11:00 a.m. at Swope Parkway Church of Christ. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
