Perry J.
Green
Feb 4, 1961 — Oct 30, 2017
Perry Joe "P.G." Green, 56, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2017. He was born February 4, 1961 in Peoria, Illinois to Verneal Green and Willie Landrum, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Perry was a graduate of Manual High School. Shortly after high school, he relocated to Kansas City, Missouri. Until his passing, he was employed by Lake City Ammunition Plant as a truck driver. On July 4, 1989 he married his life-long partner and best friend, Paulette McManus. Perry was the father of six amazing children. He was a good friend to many and he was an even better husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Perry truly enjoyed cooking, always dreaming of opening a restaurant one day. If you knew Perry, then you knew he was a sharp dressed man. His love for fashion was evident as he loved wearing suits no matter the occasion. He was a hardworking man who was the way he was by nature, not by choice. Perry leaves to cherish his most precious memories: his loving family which includes his devoted wife, Paulette Greer; one son, Perry J. Green, Jr.; five daughters, Kenya Green, Paris Liddell, Keisha Pace, Simone Green and KaShaunda Baker; three brothers, Roger Green, E.U. Landrum and Roosevelt Landrum; five sisters, Faye (Flanagan) Chapman, Sheila Green, Elnora Rickmon, Emma Landrum and Jane Landrum; mother-in-law, Fannie McManus; two brothers-in-law, Jessie Pickens and Isaac Bluitt; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Saturday, November 4, 5:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
