Phyllis was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, maternal and paternal parents, three brothers, Albert Lee Robinson, Donnelle Wilks, and Felix Bobo, one son, Rodney Dixon, and one daughter, Sarelle Dixon.

Phyllis accepted Christ as a child. Phyllis was most recently a faithful member of True Light of Jesus Christ Ministry in Grandview, Missouri, under the leadership of Pastor Bill Roper.
