Ralph L. Eskridge, Sr., 73, was born on March 19, 1947 to the union of James Van Eskridge and Dorothy Eskridge in Columbus, Ohio. He was one of four children born to this union, Fred Freeman Eskridge, James Van Eskridge and Veronica Eskridge. His parents and a daughter, Amanda Eskridge preceded him in death.

Ralph was educated in the Columbus, Ohio public schools and graduated from East High School, he furthered his education at Okaloos-Walton Junior College, University of Maryland, Central Missouri State, University of Dayton, California Pacific University and Ohio State University. He earned a Ph.D of Philosophy Degree.

Ralph enlisted in the United States Air Force and served many years. He was an Air Traffic Control Specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration until he retired. One of Ralph's hobbies was reading and rehabbing houses which was his greatest love. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending quality time with his family and grandchildren who was the light of his life.

Ralph departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Belton Regional Medical Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Willetta J. Eskridge, of the home; three sons, Ralph Jr., Lewis and Ralph Lee; step sons, Anthony and Andre; four daughters, Amanda, Dorothy, Amber and Cecelia; one step daughter, Adriona; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation 9-10:45 a.m. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
