Pastor Harvey Williams, Jr., was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Harvey and Bessie Williams. He is the second child of four children.

He received his education at Dunbar High School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served in the Korean War in 1950.

At the age of fourteen he accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the Macedonia Baptist Church.

In March 1963, Harvey Williams, Jr. and Luella Fisher became one in holy matrimony. Three sons were born, Cornelius, Paul and Dana Ramon.

He was preceded him death two brothers, Leo & Leroy and one sister, Thelma.

In 1966, he was called into the Ministry and served at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. In September 1976, he became Assistant to Pastor Owens.

In 1981 he was appointed Pastor of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully until he retired from active Pastorate. Pastor Williams departed this life on Monday. February 17, 2020 at the home.

He is survived by: two sons, Paul & Joseph; a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service Saturday, February 22, 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Wednesday, February 26, 12:30 p.m. Leavenworth National Cemetery.
