Rhoan M. Stewart passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 60.
Rhoan was born on May 28, 1961, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was seventh of eight children born to Winniefred Sharpe (deceased).
In his late twenties, he moved from Jamaica to the United Stated with his wife and young son. He worked odd jobs here and there but eventually went to school to get his CDL license. He loved being a truck driver and when driving long over-the-road trips, he would visit family living throughout the United States.
He loved his family. He was a generous individual, who would at times put the needs of others over his own.
His passions included "real" football (soccer), darts, and pool. He was a genuine beast on the pool table.
He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Thompson and sister Alana "Dawn" Malcolm.
Rhoan is survived by his children: Rhoan M. Stewart II, Rashida W. Stewart, and stepson Alijah Davis; grandchildren; Janiece A. Stewart, Rhoan R. Stewart III, Jaslynn M. Stewart; sisters Gerrie Jackson, Faith (Paul) Hamilton, and Karen Isaacs; brothers Milton Byfield and Verley Malcolm, and a host of nieces and nephews.
